CURRENTLY

He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Codarts University of Arts (Rotterdam), specialising in orchestral conducting under Hans Leenders and Sander Teepen, and choral conducting with Wiecher Mandemaker. During the 2024/2025 season, he will serve as choir preparer and assistant conductor for the Anam Camerata Orchestra.

He will also work as an assistant in programmes with the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, Extremadura Orchestra, the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Laurensvocaal, and The Barber of Seville produced by Ras de Terra, which will take place in Cáceres in 2025. In these projects, he will collaborate with esteemed conductors such as Richard Egarr, Juan Pablo Valencia, Julio García-Vico, and Arie van Beek

PREVIOUSLY

Previously, he has conducted ensembles such as the National Philharmonic of Moldova, the Varna State Opera Orchestra, the Berliner Sinfonietta, the HTWK Orchestra Leipzig, the Andalusian Youth Orchestra (OJA), the Musik-Akademie Basel Orchestra, the Málaga Provincial Youth Orchestra (JOPMA) and its Symphonic Band, as well as the musical production Paseando por Broadway at Teatro Alameda in Málaga (now Teatro del Soho-CaixaBank).

He has also conducted at prestigious international festivals, including the Leipzig Bach Festival (Bachfest 2023) and the Málaga International Jazz Festival (2021), and is set to conduct at the Rotterdam International Film Festival (IFFR) in 2025.

Between 2022 and 2024, he was part of the Young Conductors Pool of the Andalusian Youth Orchestra, where he worked with renowned conductors such as Carlos Domínguez-Nieto, Marco Antonio García de Paz, Lucía Marín, and Julio García-Vico.

EDUCATION

In addition to his formal education, he has studied and participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned conductors such as Nicolás Pasquet, Johannes Schlaefli, Miguel Romea, Guy Braunstein, Rodolfo Fischer, and Colin Metters, as well as film music conducting masterclasses with Justin Freer.

Choir

He has trained in choral conducting under Marco Antonio García de Paz, Marco Berrini, Basilio Astúlez, and Andreas Becker. From 2019 to 2022, he was the principal conductor of the Coral Stella Maris in Málaga, leading concerts, choral gatherings, and symphonic projects.

He has prepared choirs for symphonic projects such as the world premiere of Five Elements by Tete Leal (Málaga International Jazz Festival), Handel’s Messiah organised by La Caixa, the operas Ikarus und der Traum vom Fliehen and Brundibár (Musikalische Komödie, Leipzig), and Mozart’s Requiem with the ANAM Camerata in Extremadura.
